Linnaeus'Legacy #6 is coming up!

It's Linnaeus' Legacy time again! May 5th's edition will be happening at The Ethical Palaeontologist, so get your submissions in to julia (at) ethicalpalaeontologist.com, leave them in the comments here, or use the submission form at Blog Carnival.

We also need hosts for future editions!

I'll host sometime! I love hosting blog carnivals. And I'll have a nice big summary of draconian systematics prepared for this edition.

What's the deadline? I'm trying to finish a post about toucan systematics to submit. I too would love to host this carnival (although I think I should get a submission or two in first!)

Your blog is awesome. I don't think I've commented before, but I love your work. Keep it up.

Cheers,
Nick

The scheduled date each month is the 5th, but of course when exactly the carnival shows up (and hence the exact deadline) can vary a little on the convenience of the host.

Zach's already snaffled June, but all months after that are still going begging. When can I pencil you in?

Ugh... got too busy with end-of-semester stuff. Won't finish that toucanet post for another few days. I'll have to include it in the next LL.

You can pencil me in for July if you wish.

Cheers,
Nick

Thank you very much - July it is.

And for the record, exactly how does one pronounce "aracari"?

I believe it is properly spelled with the c with the squiggle (very technical term there), and that is a soft c, so I pronounce it ar-a-sar-i.

That's pretty simple. You should try jacana.
